Babar Azam, Pakistan’s white-ball captain, demonstrated his characteristic friendliness and modesty at a recent training session before the Champions One-Day 2024. While Babar and his Stallions colleagues prepared for the event, he spoke with an ardent fan who had gotten past security.

The 29-year-old’s gesture during the training session at Iqbal Stadium demonstrated his graciousness and commitment to his supporters.

Luckily, Babar noticed the fan who had slipped past ground security before he was led away. The captain made a lasting impression on the cricket fanatic when he smiled warmly and asked the fan to pose for a photo.

“This wasn’t the first time a younger admirer had tried to see Babar; however, that endeavor had failed. A hilarious turn of events saw Haris Rauf, a teammate for the Stallions, intervene to assist the young fan in eluding security, injecting some laughter into the proceedings.

On the Aviator app, fans shared stories of similar encounters, discussing the passionate admiration for Babar and the unique experiences that often arise from such interactions.”

September 12–29, 2024, is Champions One-Day 2024, and Babar Azam will represent the Stallions. Under the guidance of Pakistan’s white-ball guru Mohammad Haris, he will be joined by fellow stars Shan Masood, Abrar Ahmed, and Haris Rauf.
